Reasons for the rapid wear of cemented carbide drawing dies:
Reasons for the rapid wear of cemented carbide drawing dies:
1.Drawing dies blanks are not symmetrical to the mould steel sleeve,inlaid carbide steel sleeve or uneven distribution of voids, are likely to lead to a U-shaped cracks in the process of drawing wire;
2.the unreasonable design, entrance lubrication area opening is too small, the setting zone too long, all cause lubrication poor, resulting in mold wear even fragmentation.
In the drawing process, the quality of the lubricant affects the service life of cemented carbide drawing dies. Thus we require lubricant oil to have good oxidation resistance, excellent lubricating properties to always maintain the best lubrication state in the entire production process so as to form a layer that can withstand high pressure without being damaged of the film to reduce the friction of the working area and improve the service life of wire drawing dies.
