Tungsten Carbide Pellets Fitting
Tungsten Carbide Pellets Fitting Description
Tungsten carbide pellets fitting is unique because it is manufactured in a sintering process, whereupon the metal powder is formed under extreme heat and pressure. Tungsten carbide pellets fitting is extremely hard. The manufacturing technique makes these pellets substantially more expensive than other materials, but practically inert. The relative inertness makes tungsten carbide pellet extremely resistant to interaction with various liquids and alloys.
Tungsten Carbide Pellets Fitting Features
1. Ideal for routine pressing of abrasive materials.
2. Harder than steel pellets.
3. Polished face of pellet ensures a flat analytical surface on the sample disk.
4. Toughness of cobalt bonded matrix with excellent impact resistance
5. Spherical shape and low rates of cutting action verses angular shape carbides (sliding wear vs. cutting functions).
Compared with WC, it comes with better resistance to impact performance abrasive wear.
Different composition and particle size of WC and pellets due proportion collocation can show a very high resistance to impact and abrasion resistance.
Compared with 100XT/300XT: No need to re-weld, due to its high hardness (HRC60 HRC80 and comparison), wear resistance and corrosion resistance; since up to the hardness of HRC80 wear for the sake of the casing wear, high cobalt alloy particles (HRC63), neither globular nor small coefficient of friction, wear and tear can resolve the casing, more cost-effective.
Appearance: Grey metal particles
Size range: 250um-2.7mm/10 -100 meshes
Tungsten Carbide Pellets Fitting Application
Tungsten carbide pellets fitting are used to be welded onto the surface of the tools or work parts to form a hardened wear-resistant layer in order to provide protection against abrasive wear and therefore increase the service life of the tools and work parts. It is cost effective and is widely used in the drilling and manufacturing industry, engineering machinery, metallurgical as well as mining industry etc.
By piling welded, spraying welded to the surface of tools or working parts to form a hardened wear-resistant layer, it can greatly improve the working life of the tools.
Tungsten carbide pellet is commonly used in applications requiring extreme hardness, excellent wear resistance, and ability to withstand impact and shock.
Applications for carbide pellets include but are not limited to:
Shotgun shell
Pelletizing machines or pelletizes.
Hard banding new and used drill pipe collars
Buildup of oil field drill bits
Welded in steel substrate in various wear resistant applications
The carbide pellets are widely used in welding, in a variety of tools and components to form a layer of hardened milling, significantly increasing the surface hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
